Last updated 22 August 2026. These terms apply to everyone taking part in the BaeGifts partner (affiliate) programme. If anything here is unclear, email us before you promote — we would rather explain than enforce.
1. Joining
You must be 18 or over. Apply at /affiliates/. We approve or decline by hand and we do not have to give a reason, but we will always tell you either way. Being approved is not employment, agency, or a partnership in the legal sense — you are promoting independently, and you decide what and when you post.
2. What you earn
The standard commission is 20% of the order value, excluding shipping and tax. Your own rate is stated in your welcome email and in any message we send you; if the two ever disagree, the rate we sent you personally is the one we pay.
An order is credited to you when either:
- the customer arrives through your link and buys within 30 days of that click (we store one anonymous identifier in their browser to make this possible, and only with their consent where consent is required); or
- the customer uses your discount code at checkout — which works even if cookies were declined, on a different device, or weeks later.
If both apply and they point to different partners, the discount code wins, because typing someone’s code is the clearer signal of who actually sent the sale.
3. What does not earn commission
- Your own purchases, or purchases by your household — use your discount, not your commission.
- Orders that are refunded, charged back, cancelled, or never paid for. If a refund happens after we have already paid you, we will talk to you about it rather than silently claw it back.
- Orders we can show to be fraudulent or self-dealing.
- Some products are excluded from discount codes while a sale is running on them. Your link still earns commission during those periods; your code may simply not apply at checkout.
4. Getting paid
We pay monthly, for commission on orders that have been paid for and are past their refund window, once your balance reaches $25. Below that it rolls over. You tell us how you would like to be paid when you are approved.
You are responsible for your own taxes. If you are in the US and we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year, we will ask you for a W-9 and issue a 1099 as the law requires. We cannot pay you until you have given us the details we need to pay you lawfully.
5. Disclosure — the one rule we cannot bend
If a post earns you money, you must say so. Use #ad, or the platform’s own paid-partnership label, clearly and where people will actually see it — not buried in a wall of hashtags. This is a legal requirement under the US FTC endorsement rules and equivalents elsewhere, it applies to you and to us, and it is the one breach we will end a partnership over immediately.
Related, and just as firm: do not invent anything. No made-up reviews, no claiming you received a gift you did not, no invented delivery times, prices, materials or results, and no implying a person shown in your content is a real customer if they are not. If you have not tried the product yet, ask us — we will send you one.
6. How you may and may not promote
Fine: your own social posts, videos, stories, newsletters, blog, and word of mouth. You may use our product photography and product descriptions as they appear on our site.
Not fine:
- Unsolicited bulk messages, comment spam, or DM blasts.
- Paid search ads bidding on “BaeGifts” or close variants, and any ad that could be mistaken for coming from us.
- Listing your code on coupon or deal-aggregator sites without asking us first.
- Pretending to be BaeGifts, or registering names, handles, or domains containing our brand.
- Content aimed at under-16s, or content that is hateful, sexually explicit, or harassing.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or anything that credits you for a sale you did not cause.
7. Your content
What you make is yours. If you tag us or send us something, you are giving us permission to reshare it on our own channels with credit to you — and you can withdraw that at any time by telling us, and we will take it down. We will never edit your content in a way that changes what you said about the product.
8. Ending it
Either of us can end this at any time, for any reason, by saying so. Commission you have already properly earned still gets paid. The exception is fraud or a disclosure breach, where we may withhold unpaid commission on the affected orders.
9. Changes
If we change these terms or your commission rate, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and it will only apply to sales after that date — never retroactively.
10. Governing law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which BaeGifts is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
If something goes wrong, we would rather fix it than fight about it. Both of us agree to try to resolve any dispute informally first: email the other side a plain description of the problem and what you want, and give it 30 days. Most disagreements about a commission are a spreadsheet question, not a legal one.
If that genuinely fails, either of us may bring a claim in the courts of that state. Nothing in this section stops either of us using small-claims court, and nothing in it takes away any right you have under the consumer or employment law of your own country — if a clause here conflicts with a protection you are legally owed, that protection wins and the rest of this agreement still stands.
